 Jean Kretzschmar is the primary service provider for Creative Music Services. Bachelor degree in Music Therapy, University of Iowa 6 yrs. experience as Activity Coordinator/ Music Therapist in Nursing Homes in the Minneapolis metro Area 20 years private practice experience with Alzheimer's, dementia, Parkinson's, vulnerable adults in various Adult day Programs, Long Term Care facilities, and memory care group homes in Minneapolis Area 15 plus years experience music programming with young children Infant through Early Elementary. Developed music curriculum based on Early Childhood recommendations prekindergarten national music standards of the Music Educators National Conference, and MMTA. Jean uses regularly scheduled classes to teach primarily non-musical concepts reinforced with music for a fun, lively learning experience.
